Stop Redland�s Plane Campaign had it�s first co-ordinating group meeting on 2 October 2003 and we have met several times since.
The campaign was launched with a petition, leaflets, and posters.
The campaign�s agreed aim was to seek discontinuance of the permission for parachute jumping by Redlands Skydiving. Modification of the terms of the planning permission was deemed not acceptable.
Swindon Borough Council is now (August 2004) monitoring the noise from the skydiving plane.
Our petition and the ongoing noise nuisance from the skydiving activity is to be discussed at the Council meeting, Euclid Street, on 21st September 2004.
